If you could have 1 full day to explore anywhere, where would it be?
I've been lucky enough to explore a lot of places. The photograph in this blog post is from Hudswell Woods in England. My friends spent the day in York, which I'd be to before, so I chose to go exploring on my own. I had time to explore all the different trails--this one was one of the lower trails.
It's hard now with the virus shutting many of us off from the outdoors. Again I'm lucky in that I have a yard I can retreat to. Nature heals us in so many ways.
I'm already replanning my canceled Yellowstone/ Grand Tetons trip. I would love to see the Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon, Zion, Muir's Woods, Yosemite, and so many others. If anything, the virus has illustrated how important it is to travel and explore while I still can.
I have underlying health conditions which potentially makes me a high risk for serious infection, along with many others I know. I hope everyone stays healthy and safe.
And once this is over, travel. I travel every year, and I don't think it's enough. There's so many adventures to be had, just waiting for us, and I can't wait to go.
