I've been to Colonial Williamsburg so many times. As a kid we'd take field trips there, and my parents would bring my brother and I a lot. As an adult, I've come to appreciate it even more! The area is beautiful, with gardens, gravel paths, old buildings, history, and historic re-enactors.
It's just a charming place to walk around with nature and history at your fingertips. You can take tours inside the houses, watch blacksmith re-enactors make items from the day, or just walk around on the old streets. It's worth a visit.
