What is something you were excited to travel and see? How did you feel when you finally saw it?
Back in 2012 when our travel group went to England for the first time, one of the trips we made was up to Hadrian's Wall. I'd read about Hadrian's Wall--it was something that gave me chills at the thought of seeing it.
It did not disappoint. There was something incredible about it, as it stretched over hills, and through the countryside--never taller than my shoulders.
It was this old ghost of history that was slowly being retaken by nature. It was never too imposing over the landscape, but distinct enough that it served as a good reminder of the past.
This turned out to be one of my favorite photographs I've ever taken. I loved seeing it.
